  1. I haven't voted because I probably wouldn't use chunky weight for a scarf myself. I tend to like lighter, more flexible yarns for that.

  2. You might do a Google search for the Yarn Harlot's Scarf .... it's reversible and I made one for a friend out of two hanks of Malabrigo. I have it pictured on Ravelry, if you want to check it out.

  3. With the yardage, you probably don't want a scarf per se. Maybe try a cowl/muffler/neckwarmer? For example, Knitty's "Sugar on Snow" pattern or "A Capella". Magknits also had a few during the winter, but I can't seem to track them down....
