Are you looking for a dice bag to buy???

So I stared an Etsy shop for selling things that I make, I'm going to start with dice bags and work from there. If you would like to buy a hand knit dice bag as a gift or for yourself, there is only one right now, but soon there will be more, check out my shop Failte.

Update...

So to let you know, we had the "plague" last week, which is why I didn't even try to post. I did feel better by Thursday but didn't feel like sitting anymore so I went to Knit Night and stayed away from mostly everyone by at least a foot.

On Sunday, I went out for a few hours because T was gone most of Saturday. I went to The Yarnery and bought a couple discount books, a notion card for my knit bag and some yarn (finally) for my S-i-l and Hubby's (hand knit) (belated) Christmas gifts. Now after I finish the current dice bag I'm making (I'm thinking of selling them), I'll knit those and have them to them hopefully soon, and don't worry I'm still working on the shawl (ravelry link) and will get around to posting pictures one of these days, I'm almost done with chart A, Yippie! It's only a small victory because I still have a lot to do and with the kids jumping all over me all the time it makes it difficult. Speaking of the shawl, I think I'll go work on it now and let the girls watch a movie at the same time, that should keep them entranced for a little bit. I'm thinking The Last Unicorn, it was on sale at Target and I couldn't miss getting it.

Also, one more thing, Nablopomo is doing it again and again, the person that runs this in November every year is now going to do a contest for every month and I signed up. So March will be a heavy post month, with lots of babbling and maybe some random lists, being that's the theme for March.

Minnesotans For Global Warming Song

This is hilarious and oh so funny too :D

Will you be My Valentine? :P

I'm still kind of in a funk, I think it's all the weather and lack of funds to do anything outside the house. We have our last shire meeting tonight, it's sad but hopefully we can get things going again after some time away to breath. We still have a yahoo group for if we ever want to get back together for anything. The webpage is officially down, but I have everything saved on the external HD so if we want to begin again we haven't lost everything.

I've got over 8000 stitches done on the shawl but that's barely 10% and that really sucks. So I'm off to go do some more knitting, I'm hoping to be done with chart A by tomorrow evening, we'll see what fate brings my way before then.

Oh yeah, and Happy Valentine's Day to all of you, I don't expect much on today because our anniversary for when we started dating is on the 18th and I always figured that was more important (12 years can you believe it, I can't) so Happy V day to all of you.

Here's a little romance music...

I love this song

It's F-ing cold out there...

It was so cold on Sunday, I almost got frost bit running from my house to the van, and when I say that isn't very far, I'm not kidding on the cold. I had to run to my parents (a whole 5 miles) to finish our taxes and of course the van is on E, argh, so I had to do that on the way too. When I got to my parents place I was a bit worried about my calves (there was just about a 3 inch section below the knee exposed)(I know, I'm stupid) that was really tingling, not good. But at least they didn't stop until I was inside instead of outside where it would have been frost bite then. Some days I seriously need to think about things a little better.

I'm still working on the shawl, but not as much as I should. I'm going to make a point of working on it this afternoon, I really need to get it done so I can do other stuff, like finish the mittens for the girls and stuff for T and maybe even something for me, as well as the socks for my m-i-l and the scarf for Gran and oh yeah all the stuff I promised for my mom, argh, argh, arggggggghhhhhh. I need to knit faster and maybe an extra pair of hands, and the need for less sleep and more hours in a day, oye friggin vay.

You know you've been....

...allowing your kids to watch too much Gordon Ramsey when....

They start pretending to be eating/tasting food and also pretending to spit it out and yell at each other about how terrible it is. Too funny. Now if they could only be as clean as he is I'd be set. :D Kids can be so funny sometimes.

Your Score: Rabbit

You scored 21 Ego, 14 Anxiety, and 18 Agency!

IT was going to be one of Rabbit's busy days. As soon as he woke up he felt important, as if everything depended upon him. It was just the day for Organizing Something, or for Writing a Notice Signed Rabbit, or for Seeing What Everybody Else Thought About It. It was a perfect morning for hurrying round to Pooh, and saying, "Very well, then, I'll tell Piglet," and then going to Piglet, and saying, "Pooh thinks--but perhaps I'd better see Owl first." It was a Captainish sort of day, when everybody said, "Yes, Rabbit " and "No, Rabbit," and waited until he had told them.

You scored as Rabbit!

ABOUT RABBIT: Rabbit is generally considered Clever by his many friends and relations. He is actually a much better reader and writer than Owl, but he doesn't consider it worth mentioning. Instead, Rabbit's real talent lies in Organizing Plans. He organizes rescue parties, makes schemes to reduce Tigger's bounciness, and goes on missions to find out what Christopher Robin does when he's not at the Hundred Acre Woods. Sometimes, however, his Plans do not always go as Planned.

WHAT THIS SAYS ABOUT YOU: You are smart, practical and you plan ahead. People sometimes think that you don't stress or worry, but this is not the case. You are the kind of person who worries in a practical way. You think a) What are my anxieties about and b)what can be done about them? No useless fretting for you. You don't see the point in sitting around and waiting for things to work out, when you could actually work them out today and save yourself a lot of time and worry. Your friends tend to rely on you, because they know that they can trust you help them work things out.

You sometimes tend to be impatient with people who are less practical in their ways. You don't have much patience for idiots who moan about things but never actually DO anything about them. You have high expectations of everyone, including yourself. When you don't succeed at something, or when something goes wrong despite your best efforts to prevent it, you can get quite hard on yourself. You need to cut yourself some slack and accept that everyone has their faults, even you, and THAT IS OKAY. Let yourself be faulty, every now and then, for the sake of your own sanity.
