Sorry about the absence...

I've been knitting until my hands are completely cramped up and then I would take some pain reliever and keep going. Unfortunately I cant show you what I've been working my hands off on, it's a test knit for a book. I'm very excited and will let all of you know as soon as its available. It's really fun being part of such a neat process. I hope I can do it again not to far off in the future, not tomorrow or even this month, but I would consider doing it again as soon as March. I'll have to time manage better but that's me not anyone else.

Other than that life has been life. I'm behind in a lot of things and trying my best to get caught up. Speaking of which I need to go work. Hope to be here more often, soon.

Day 6... Knit Night

It's my get out of the house free card night. I'm going to run over and have a chat with my tat artist Paully and then I'm off to grab a light (on the pocket book that is) dinner and than relaxation and knitting and coffee. I'm very excited to just go out and not worry about the children (at least not as much) and recharge my burning out batteries.

I made my appointment to go get a massage for the 22nd and I'm very excited to just get pampered. Thank you Mom & Dad and Mom-i-l & Dad-i-l for a great birthday gift, oh and hubby too. :) Very excited!!

Last night My Fair Lady with Rex and Audrey was on TMC with no commercial interruptions, it was awesome. I knit on the shawl and I'm 3 very long rows away from chart A being finished. After that I'll have to pay even more attention to the charts, I hope I get done soon.

Well I got clue 2 to test out so I'm going to go do that.
Chat at y'all soon

Houston. . .

... We have a problem. Or is it I have a problem. Whichever.

I'm out of fleece to spin and don't have the funds at the moment for more. This sucks, I was just starting to really get a groove. Not the best groove, mind you, but one none the less of a beginner. Argh, I need a sheep and a drum carder now. :P or at the least more roving. Anyone want to go buy me fleece and bring it to me is more than welcome, I'll pay in something not sure what but something. You think T would let me get more if I offered sexual favors, me neither. Damn.

Test Knitting Part 4

Very nice pattern must get working on the second one. I did most of this last night at Fiber Night with some ladies at G's house. It was nice to be kid free for awhile and to hang with Rach. We watched some Schoolhouse Rock! (it was the 30th Anniversary edition) and than Henry V. Good times. And I almost finished the sock, came home, took care of Se and went to bed. This morning when breakfast was happening I finished the toe (like 4 rounds) and kitchenered during nap time. And now it's done. Yea!!! Now to avoid the SSS

Test Knitting Part 3

This is before Fiber Night at G's, I'll be leaving in a little bit, here's hoping I finish.

Test Knitting Part 2

Well I'm done with the the chart and all looks good to me. I'm off to the heel. I decided to just do the two repeats of the pattern, one with the written out instructions and one with the chart. They fit well because I have big calves. I'm really loving this pattern and will definitely use again. I hope Kat is happy with how it is all turning out. I have to go email her now, I was lazy with the flickr and didn't size down my photos, so now I'm already at my download limit for the month because of the stash and my indecisiveness. (ooo, a $1.00 word)

Test Knitting Part 1

So I've been a wicked fast for me knitter lately, I started this on Thursday after knitting group and I'm done with the ribbing and one full pattern repeat. I'm test knitting this for someone I met on Ravelry, next up the chart instead of the written out instructions.

I'm using KnitPicks Essential Tweed in Flint.
