Samhain and Halloween

We're not going to be home this year to hand out candy because T and I both want to take the kids out. Should be interesting with all of us sick. I guess we just wont be out for long.

Had knit night last night, good times for the most part. Hopefully all that didn't show are well. I wasn't going to but ended up at WallyWorld and bought a pattern and some electric orange fleece to make the pup a coat for hunting/going outside at the in laws during hunting season. Bonus I'll be able to see her when it snows too.

So the colds continue in the house, Se started coughing, Ju is still running her nose, T is getting up in the middle of the night to cough which in turn makes it hard for me to go to sleep when I'm coming to bed at 2am. Ugh, now I just need some food and caffeine (black tea, I'm to lazy to make coffee) And today is a holiday so I was planning to carve our pumpkins and roast seeds and make some kind of pie or whatever. We'll see what happens.

Gearing up and sneezing out....

Sorry I stalled out a little bit, I'm trying to save up for NaBloPoMo.

I had one of those mornings I woke up to my phone alarm and hit it frantically because I thought it was going off way to early, actually I did that repeatedly until hubby said that someone was screaming downstairs. I must have been really having a realistic dream.

I have a lame ass head cold, the kind where you sneeze a lot, blow your nose a lot, and your throat feels yucky because you cant breathe out of your nose. Ugh. And it hasn't helped that last night I stayed up until 2am watching Sabrina and fixing T's internet connection.

Well I have popovers to check, I was feeling ambitious last night and made a promise, so here I am making popovers for breakfast. Silly me.

I'm a Freak...

So Samurai Knitter suggested that those that read her blog should try this test. So I did and I'm the Uber freak, I got a perfect 0, which supposedly means I have perfect color vision. I always new colors played tricks on me, I've even looked at "identical" colors and seen a difference. So I guess this makes me officially a freak, as if I wasn't one before.

Theatre....

Wouldn't it be fun to go to Stitch, Bitch N' Die at the Bryant-Lake Bowl, of course its only on Saturdays and Sundays of October and all of mine are full. Ugh. It looks hilarious and its BYOK (Bring Your Own Knitting), Awesome. Tickets are $15, so if any of you in my area are lucky enough to go, let me know what you think.

Happy Birthday Lil'Man!!!!

So my youngest is the big 2 today, and I'm a little sad. My baby is growing up, he tells me "no" now and "I down", "Fire" (with the hand out like he's shooting it from his palm), and talkin about "cake". He says so much now it's kinda crazy. He's wearing 24 mth clothing, he still has short legs but his torso is long so it evens out. He still has his naughty moments but in all reality he's a really good kid. He just recently (like yesterday) opened his bedroom door and got out all on his own, crazy. I sure do love him and I wouldn't trade him for the world.

Granny & Bumpa got him a car and some really nice clothes. Aunt Janie, Uncle Dan & Cousins got him a small bulldozer and some really nice clothes. Mama Tee & Bumpa got him some really nice clothes as well, he'll be set for fall/winter now. Auntie Rachie got him some books and Uncle Kevin & Future Aunt Melinda got him some trucks. We're getting him Cars the movie as soon as we find a copy, I think it might be his new favorite.
